Colorado’s Original Coal Camp

Ground Breaking for the Road Construction Projects

Ground Breaking for the road project was held in Coal Creek CO, on Monday March 17th 2014. We are all excited for the upcoming changes that will improve our little town. I’m sure by now everyone has taken the detour around the exposed culvert on Main Street. With the help of Fremont County we are busy trying to install the new culvert that was damaged by flood waters. This area will be open for use this week( 3/17/14). The county will start the road construction at the “Y” on Cap Rock Rd at the beginning of next week (3/24/14 or sooner if possible).  If you need further information on the road project you can call (719-784-6150) or stop by town hall. Please use caution around construction areas and watch out for the flaggers directing traffic.
